Hey, I'm Lara
A wedding photographer based in Leicestershire, with a serious eye for detail and a soft spot for a good love story. What started as my own bridal era quickly turned into an obsession with weddings, and now I get to capture them across the UK and beyond.
My photography is relaxed, natural and a little bit editorial. I love beautiful details, gorgeous light and creating portraits that make you stop and think "wow, that’s us". But just as much, I love the moments that happen naturally throughout the day and the photographs that bring you straight back to them.
And when I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me enjoying a good glass of wine, discovering somewhere new to eat or planning my next adventure with my husband. I’m also a huge dog lover, with two very cute Maltipoos of my own, Arlo & Kobe. So if your dogs are part of your wedding day, you can guarantee I’ll be making plenty of time for them too.

The story behind why I fell in love with telling yours.

Three years ago, my now-husband flew me to Santorini and asked me to marry him. The feeling in that moment I had was something else. The excitement, the disbelief, the oh my god, they want to spend the rest of their life with me. I remember thinking, if only I could bottle this feeling up forever.
Luckily, he had secretly hired a photographer to capture the moment and when we received the photographs back, it was like experiencing that moment all over again. I could feel everything I had felt that day, the excitement, the love, the butterflies. Somehow, these photographs had made me relive the best moment ever all over again.
And that’s when I realised I wanted to create that feeling for other people too.
I want your photographs to do more than show you what your wedding looked like. I want you to look back and think, look at us. Look how in love we were. And, of course, I want those photographs where you look at yourselves and think, wow, we look good together.
Because that feeling you have on your wedding day is pretty special and if I can bottle even a little bit of it up for you to keep forever, then that’s exactly what I want to do.
